Homework Homie Begins Pilot at University of North Carolina at Wilmington

Students are currently beginning to trial the free software to help keep track of their assignments.

Raleigh, North Carolina, December 4, 2018— Homework Homie announced on Tuesday that they were beginning an early-stage pilot at UNCW in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Sam Weaver, one of the co-founders of Homework Homie, expressed his excitement at moving into a new market.

“We are looking forward to reaching even more students, as we continue to pursue our goal of alleviating stress for students and helping students stay more organized.” Sam said.

Students at UNCW looking to try the software can install it in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome online at https://www.homeworkhomie.com. Their motto, “Quit stressing about homework,” captures their mission to take away the stress of having to constantly check various homework sites or manually write down due dates.

Sam and Meg implore students to spread the word with any Seahawks interested in trying the app.

Homework Homie is a browser extension that automatically grabs due dates from the different websites that professors use to post their assignments, in order for students to have one single place to look for upcoming homework.
